Hyper Pop, Anti-pop, whatever you want to label it, I just can’t stop listening to the debut EP from PRIV. Proving himself to be one of the hottest artist emerging out of the growing, midwest music scene, PRIV is the buzzing 20 year old coming outta Grand Rapids, Michigan. Having launched his project earlier this year, he has recently dropped his 6-track, "midwest regrest*+", EP, powered by the single, “Memories”, and rounded out with a number of certified bops. If you haven't yet heard of him, let this project serve as the perfect introduction to what exactly he has to offer.
Throughout the project, PRIV finds the perfect balance between melodic and electronic, crafting slick productions that perfectly mesh with his unique vocal tone and energetic performances. While hyper-pop may seem to be one of the fastest growing and oversaturated scenes at the moment, PRIV proves his worth creating slick bops that fit right in yet still bring plenty of originality at each turn.
