Fast rising atmospheric Indie Pop singer Riah has been turning heads since she first stepped into the scene in 2016. After initially releasing, “Wildlife”, and, “Nightmare”, tastemakers quickly took notice, leading to some major press and stellar collaborations.
Teaming up with BRKLYN on, “Can’t Get Enough”, Riah found herself in the mix on Spotify’s coveted New Music Friday playlist. Another collaboration with Shallou on, “Lie”, has also added to her budding catalog which has seen Riah reach over 4M streams on Spotify alone to date.
Now back with her fourth single, “Prom”, Riah stuns with her haunting and concise vocals – carrying the track from beginning to end. With simplistic lyrics and a pretty minimal production, the delivery and melodies here are everything. Driving bass, deep pads and filtered staccato melodies fill the production while Riah shines. A bit of an 80s vibe and joins the mix to add a bit of nostalgia to the already undeniable tune.
With an original tone, great vocal control, catchy toplines and hypnotizing delivery, I have no doubt you will be hearing a lot more from Riah.
