Rick Wonder & Dstar Flip Sam Smith

There is nothing I love more than some hometown producers delivering fire mixes.

NYC based Rick Wonder is no stranger to RDFO, in fact it wasn’t too long he hit us with this joint.

Keeping busy behind the decks and in the studio, he’s back once again, teaming up with Dstar who we’ve also featured before with this bomb…

This time around they are back with a fresh remix of Sam Smith’s, “Too Good at Goodbyes”.  While the original is an absolute smash in its own right, their reinterpretation bring it up a notch and makes it ready for the clubs.

The Future Bass inspired mix sees the two DJ/Producers maintaining the overall emotions of the original, while bringing their own touch to the track.  Mellow verses built around staccato plucks and some drums pick up into the hook where they drop some huge synth stabs and catchy as hell melodic vocal chops.

Adding Just the right amount of energy, their new remix hits you right in the feels while also bringing a bit of a bounce.  While both producers continue to drop their own solo works, I can’t help but hope there are more collars between them.  This is fresh af.
