Sam Tompkins Shares Sincere Tune “Bloodline” Ahead Of EP Release

They say blood is thicker than water and we all know family asserts its place in our lives. Whether you may be close with yours or extremely distant, there’s no doubt that you’re a result of generations of people who make up your past and even your future. Rising singer/songwriter Sam Tompkins is back with another heartfelt smash “Bloodline.”

The tune follows an intimate story that showcases the young storyteller’s talent for writing from a genuine and relatable point of view. Full of luscious melodies and emphatic lyrics, “Bloodline” grows into an anthem that celebrates family and its impact on our psyche, mannerisms, memories, and aspirations. Utilizing details from his own life story and wearing his heart on his sleeve, Tompkins pulls us into his world and even makes us feel like a part of his family. When it came to the inspiration for the tune, the young artist shares:

“‘Bloodline’ is a reminder that no matter how far our loved ones go, they are always still with us wherever we go.

Following in the footsteps of British break-out stars like Sam Fender and Tom Grennan, Sam Tompkins’ music has already been praised by Bastille, Elton John, Bebe Rexha, Krept and Konan, Jason Derulo and MNEK alongside the likes of MTV, Clash, Notion and tmrw magazine and featured on flagship Spotify editorial playlists like The Pop List and Fresh & Chill. 2022 is set to be a big year as this incredibly talented artist has gone from busking on the streets to selling-out tours. With the release of his new EP who do you pray to? set for February 4th, Sam will set out his vision for the future.
