Sea Girls Drop ‘Violet’ As They Prepare for String of Sold Out Shows

UK based group Sea Girls have been making some major waves lately.  Since releasing their debut single in 2017 the 4-piece Alternative group have shown no sign of letting up, releasing 3 EP’s and a number of singles that have since helped to set the group up for a major 2019.

Following a whirlwind start to the year, which saw them being named as the only band on the BBC’s Sound of 2019 list and playing their biggest ever sold out live show at London’s Heaven, the band also signed a record deal with Polydor Records (Billie Eilish, Sam Fender, The 1975), and is now preparing for a string of sold out shows across the Europe.

To add some fuel to the fire, Sea Girls have just released their new single, “Violet“, which was debuted on BBC Radio 1 as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record In The WorldIn contrast to some of their moodier works in the past, “Violet“, is a bubbly and uplifting anthem that brings the perfect vibe for the end of summer (which is fast approaching).  From their clean mixes to their dynamic productions and memorable hooks, it is not hard to understand why Sea Girls have see such a fast rise – and it is only a mater of time until they break across the pond to the US.

About the new single, lead singer Henry Camamile says, “If our other tracks are the shade, then Violet is definitely the light. There is no tortured soul here, just a boy who avoided the inevitable for years, suddenly realises, and throws himself wholeheartedly to someone who’s made for him. Put your face in a sink of ice cold water and that’s how it makes me feel.

Make sure you add this one to your playlists… and if they are coming to a town near you on their upcoming tour, I suggest you grab some tix.
