Sea Girls Ready New EP with ‘Ready for More’ [VIDEO]

While hotly tipped UK band Sea Girls officially launched in 2017, it was just last year that they landed on my radar – and since then I have been totally hooked.  Having released an impressive discography to date while finding support from Radio 1 and tastemakers around the globe and selling out shows across the UK, Sea Girls have proved themselves to be one of the most exciting new bands from across the pond.

Time and time again I find myself landing on their turns in my playlists and running them back over and over again.  With a penchant for writing anthemic tunes that are perfect to sing along to, Sea Girls write relatable tunes that appeal to the masses and there is no doubt that people are taking note.  Comprised of Henry Camamile (vocals/guitar), Rory Young (guitar), Andrew Dawson (bass) and Oli Khan (drums), the buzzing group is now preparing for another sold out UK tour in support of their brand new EP, “Under Exit Lights”, which drops on March 6th.

Having already teased fans with a number of singles from their forthcoming 6-track EP, Sea Girls have also just released the official video for standout tune, “Ready for More”.  Directed by Sophia & Robert (Odelay Films – Pale Waves, The Kooks, David Guetta), the video, “is a thinly veiled dark message in a vibrant frenzied and down the rabbit hole way” says singer Henry Camamile.  Speaking on the influence behind the tune, he adds, “At the time of writing it I was so unsure of who I was, what I was doing or if I could trust myself.  I was my own worst enemy.”

If you are into totally rocking Alt-Pop type smashes, do yourself a favor and keep an eye on Sea Girls.  I have no doubt this is going to be a major year for the Polydor backed artists to watch – and if you happen to be in the UK, you’re going to want to find some tickets to check these guys out live.
