Sea Girls Release New EP ‘Under Exit Lights’

Writer: Nicholas ZalloNicholas Zallo

English indie rock band Sea Girls just released their new EP “Under Exit Lights”. Adept at delivering arena-ready anthems, the group is also known for their detailed storytelling and high energy songs, which the stand out track “Why You Won’t Admit”, perfectly highlights.

With emotionally open lyrics and powerful guitar chords, “Why You Won’t Admit” lifts listeners up to their feet while still pulling at their heartstrings. Frontman Henry Camamile explains, “The lyrics for these songs draw their soul from my life of late nights and the mornings after – about being young and going out a lot. It involves dark thoughts, anxiety, but ends in hope, positivity and optimism.

With their debut album scheduled to release this summer, “Under Exit Lights” shows the band’s ability to put full projects together, while “Why You Won’t Admit” illustrates their ability to make compelling but also catchy music. Sea Girls have talent and drive, and I’m excited to see what the future holds for them.
