DC Metro area singer Vicu Schek aka V.I.C.U recently caught the eye of WPGC 95.5’s DJ Flexx. The Chevy Chase, Maryland, native’s slow jam “In the Night” spotlight’s the singer’s soulful vocals and was featured on WPGC 95.5 on the air and on WPGC.com.
The music video was directed, shot and edited by Ken Lasso of AnnaKen Media.
V.I.C.U wrote, performed and produced this song in collaboration with producer/engineer Matt Veirs, pianist/strings arranger Nicolas Laget of The Sweet Spot, and executive producer Matthew Shell.
V.I.C.U is an 18-year-old singer-songwriter. Adopted from Romania as a baby, V.I.C.U lives with his family in Rockville, Maryland. V.I.C.U performs in the DC Metro area and enjoys an ever-expanding and enthusiastic following. His musical influences range from Michael Jackson, Usher, and Jason Derulo, to Tyler Ward and Jason Mraz, to Hugh Panaro and Ramin Karimloo.
Mostly self-taught, V.I.C.U plays acoustic and electric guitar, the drums, and piano. V.I.C.U is currently working on his first full length album. Be on the look out for V.I.C.U’s upcoming original E.P. release titled “Scissors”.
