Stephen Babcock Wears His Heart on His Sleeve in "Heart Off"

Introducing an upbeat break-up song to the cold winter months, "Heart Off" delivers a relatable message about letting go of a relationship that is well past its prime. Fearlessly exploring personal growth, Babcock isn't afraid to touch on challenging life encounters in his new project and "Heart Off" certainly stands out. Ironically wearing is "heart on" his sleeve, "Heart Off" relieves him of the stresses of thinking about somebody that you just can't seem to get off your mind and instead, uses his music as a catalyst toward new directions. Succinct lyrics and a smooth melody, Babcock's new track provides a warm embrace as if to say "You're not alone, you will get through this".

Babcock recently embarked on his North American tour run in support of his new record When We Were Kids Ourselves, which kicked off in his hometown of Buffalo, New York, and will end on November 11th at the famous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville. 2022 gifted listeners with an exciting taste of the full-length effort, leaving fans eager to delve into the entirety of WhenWe Were Kids Ourselves. The grand endeavor sees Babcock hitting his musical stride, while coming into his own as both a writer and musician, solidifying his place as a stand-out in the indie- pop/folk realm.
