“Following the Sun” is the hit debut single from up and coming artists Super-Hi and Neeka. Super-Hi is also known as the producers Red Triangle and consists of George Tizzard and Rick Parkhouse of Bournemouth, UK. The duo have been credited with writing and producing songs with hit artist such as, 5 Seconds of Summer, Charlie Puth, Alesso, Green Day, David Guetta, and James Arthur. Neeka are the singers, songwriters Negin Djafari and Katy Tizzard.
Co-writers of “Following the Sun”, Neeka gives the vocals their honest, raw feel. Super-Hi is quoted as saying, “We wrote Following the Sun to make people happy. If we can bring song positivity into the world right now, the we have succeeded.”
This upbeat track describes a moment of escape and freedom, leaving all you’re problems behind. The optimistic lyrics are something we could all use more of, especially in today’s world. As we all suffer through this global pandemic, I think we can all relate to the desire to escape and be free.
