I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – there may be nothing I love more than a solid debut.
Stepping on to the scene with some new flava for your ears is Piggybank. Teaming up with Aspen Dawn and Joe Farey, Piggybank has recently released, “Clarity”, and it is a jam. Soulful, Pop leaning, emotional goodness that is both haunting and uplifting.
The intricate yet minimal production leans on mellow chords, bright melodies and some saucy percussion to keep the groove going strong. Interesting sounds and flavors pepper the track keeping the listener on their toes and adding new layers to the fold at every turn. Beyond the production, there are few things I like more than a male/female duet.
If this is Piggybank‘s first offering, I’m excited to see where it goes from here. I’ll be rocking this one for sure.
