Hailing from Toronto, buzzing 8-piece band Gold Complex is known in their hometown for their electrifying live performance and beauteous blend of Soul, Pop and R&B. Having already released an EP, sand a couple of singles, they have been steadily turning heads with their impressive musicality and ability to craft jam worthy, memorable tunes time and time again.
Having already headlined many major venues in Toronto including The Horseshoe Tavern, Lee’s Palace and the MOD Club while also finding placements in TV and film and seeing regular support on CBC and college/community radio nationwide – Gold Complex is now back in the studio working on their debut full-length. Their latest offering, “Fight About Nothing”, is yet another example of the groups impressive abilities.
With all live production featuring guitar, horns and drums topped with killer vocals, their latest release is a soothing, sexy and empowering tune. Soulful, anthemic and incredibly dynamic, one listen is all it takes to hear the groups undeniable chemistry. While this may be far from my usual vibe, I am a sucker for talented musicians and well written songs.
