TyC Unleashes Two New Gems

Hailing from NYC, now based in LA, Berklee College of Music graduate TyC has been on an absolute tear over the last few years.  From dropping his own originals, to racking up credits behind the scenes, the multi-talented songwriter/producer has been non-stop with a regular release schedule, creating cross-genre gems that resonate with the masses.

No stranger to RockDafuqOut, TyC has recently hit us with two new gems that we can not get enough of.  First teaming up with frequent collaborators Sarah Skinner and Evann McIntosh, TyC dropped off the smooth, R&B leaning, “How Does it Feel?“, which features a textured production that relies on lush layers and impressive harmonics to create a totally vibing, smooth and sexy feel.

Hot on the heels of that smash, TyC once again teamed up with buzzing Cleveland native Skruff Micksun and fellow producer Landis for the emotive and haunting new tune, “Tightrope“.  While Skruff Micksun first made waves with his video for, “Ariose“, he has continued to keep the heat on and once again impresses with his new single.  The tune, which was originally meant to be a Folk song, took a quick turn in the studio, leading both artists to enter uncharted territories, creating a dark, hypnotic vibe that features percussive synths, ambient textures and Trap leaning drums.  The new cross-over jam is an absolute stunner that helps to show all parties involved in a raw, untethered clarity.
