Fast rising duo VAVO (Alden & Jesse) have just released a new tune, “Sleeping Alone”, and it is a stellar single to add to their growing catalog. Having already found support on previous releases from the likes of David Guetta, Nicky Romero and Tiesto, all it takes is one listen to realize why people are paying close attention.
On, “Sleeping Alone”, a chill, dreamy and emotional vibe transcends via touching vocals, reverberating guitar riffs and bright atmospheric elements. While the verses remain low key to touch your soul, the track builds up to a Future Bass drop that ups the energy with help from melodic synth stabs and a catchy modulating vocal lead.
Perhaps what I love most about this tune is the dynamic between both vocals (i’m a sucker for duets). With each artist taking the lead on each verse, the other offers subtle support, helping the vocals blend perfectly into the production. With a clean mix and smart instrumentation the whole time feels like one lush soundscape with everything in its place.
