Australian teenager Vic August has been on a rolling since he recorded his first single at the age of 14. Fast forward a few years and the ice cold crooner has already reached some major milestones – from features on Complex, to co-signs from Ebro on his Beats 1 radio show, to topping the iTunes Charts in his home country, Vic August is showing no sign of letting up.
Prepping to release his sophomore EP, “TRUTHS”, on label WVS on February 15th, the young gunner has recently unleashed the projects third single, “Wire Tap”. While Vic August has proven his cross over appeal time and time again, the new single shows a moodier side that is sure to heat up Australian summer.
With a growing fanbase, steadily increasing streaming numbers and tastemakers worldwide paying close attention, I have no doubt the new EP will be another giant leap for the buzzing Australian. With a sound all his own, Vic August is in his own lane and pushing the pedal to the floor.
