German based producer VVOLV has just unleashed his latest single, “Portal”, and it is an absolute jam. Blurring the lines between Bass House and Future House, the track features deep, gritty basslines, haunting atmospheric elements and energetic vocal samples before building up into and absolutely huge drop.
Impressive synth work brings a bouncing energy to the drop supported by slamming drums and giving us a break from the darker more hypnotic build ups. The dynamic new release is as hard-hitting as it is polished, showing the buzzing producers knack for not only making tracks slap, but for making sure the mixes stand up with anything else it may be programmed against.
If you are a fan of EDM, I’d make sure you add this one to your bins and keep an ear out for it in the clubs and at the festivals you may be hitting through the fall. This one is a beast.
