Alt Rock duo The Haunt deliver a dark heart romance novel that takes you into the forest of grunge and darkwave - they blow out the lantern and leave you to fend for yourself, only to hold your hand at the end.
The ability to design a grunge rock song and still have it layers with romantics is not only a skill but an epic experience, that is on full display with "Shake". The track smashes from left to right, giving you intimacy, only to rip it away in and into the distance as they go full throttle into the night.
Shattered glass, distorted mics, blown-out speakers and clothes going flying are all I see when this track starts, and I am in no way upset with that image I'm in my absolute element.
