Woman, Immigrant & LGBTQ + Owned Global Design Studio ‘EAT’ Launches Newly Refined B

Preview EAT’s New Website Here

Internationally renowned design studio EAT elevates its foundation with the launch of their newly refined website and rebrand. The new look inspires a continuation of progressive and diverse perspectives to design, business and innovative expression for EAT. EAT speaks fluent creative; with team members residing around the world, they tap into cultural hubs overflowing with creative expression. They are a woman, immigrant and LGBTQ+ owned studio that offers a unique and well rounded perspective to branding and design solutions. Time and time again, we see their diverse lens resonate with clients on an international scale.

First established in 2009, EAT’s humble beginnings inside a 200 sq foot office with no windows has led them on a 10+ year journey toward producing high quality work for household names including Netflix, Amazon, Adidas, Red Bull and many more. Their clientele consists of a wide range of entities including global brands, start-ups and most prominently, gaming. During the COVID gaming-boom, EAT led branding and design conversations for Amazon Prime Gaming, Jam City, Blizzard / Activision, Ubisoft and Venn. The new brand highlights their eye for 3D design; the sleek tones communicate a polished and artistic approach to thoughtful techniques. The website highlights their key services being branding, graphic design, motion graphics and creative workshops.

CEO Renata Amaral Morris

EAT’s approach to brand development includes careful brand analysis and research, naming, brand identity, brand architecture and a fully equipped design system. Their approach to graphic design seamlessly separates into two categories: Digital and Print & Experiential. The majority of their digital design involves creating presentation decks, scripting & storytelling, UI & UX design for website development and more. Print and Experiential work includes packaging, signage, merchandise and stage design. When working with motion graphics, EAT’s versatility ranges from broadcast assets to video trailers & teasers, motion reels and more. Finally, their creative workshops include everything from brainstorm techniques, organizational processes, leadership and management for online teams, etc. The new and improved brand highlights an intuitive nature that they not only apply to their own brand but their clientele as well.

EAT takes pride in their client services by prioritizing values like warmth and teamwork as well as educational offers like workshops where the EAT team offers a deeper insight into the creative intelligence behind the branding and designing process. The way they treat their employees is also a top priority for EAT. For example, at the top of COVID they made sure to equip their employees with all of the tools necessary to thrive within their at-home work environments. Already managing a remote team, the company was well-prepared; however, in addition to allowing for a flexible work environment, they provided support to their employees who wished to enroll in at-home workout memberships like virtual yoga. They also allocated funds for therapy should the team want to talk to someone throughout the course of the pandemic. EAT’s thoughtful approach to their clients and employees equips the company for longevity and a strong start to 2021.

CFO/COO Gabriel Seibel

While remaining internationally tapped in, EAT is also an immigrant, female and queer-owned company. Founder and CEO Renata Amaral Morris brings over 17 years of experience in branding and design to the table, leading all facets of EAT’s business by closing deals and ensuring clients success. Having recently been featured in Forbes, Renata has made it known that one of her top goals is to continue to share her passion for design and industry knowledge as a public speaker and educator in the field of creative intelligence. She lectures about design at international creative conferences and has recently become a certified meditation teacher. COO and Head of Production Gabriel Seibel has successfully executed 400+ projects for internationally renowned brands overseeing everything from development to production at EAT. As a Tedx speaker at the Université de Nanterre in Paris, he also teaches Marketing at Paris’ IESEG School of Management. Together, Renata and Gabriel have expanded the team far beyond their Los Angeles-based headquarters to Brazil, France, Germany and Portugal.

Everything from their internal operations to the way they interact with their clients proves the effectiveness of their choice to remain authentic, humanized, and therefore refreshingly approachable. Specializing in brand development, graphic design, motion graphics, and more, EAT has contributed to influential brand development for companies like Adidas, Disney, Warner, and The New York Times. It is both Renata and Gabriel’s goal to combine the proof of their efforts and their genuine passion for what they do to inspire aspirational designers to pursue their dreams despite adversity. The founders of EAT plan to use their platform to assure fellow immigrants, women, and queer-identifying individuals to go after their goals with strength, courage, and fluent creativity.
