Raised in Minneapolis, buzzing artist Caroline Smith has been hard at work for quite some time. While she had initially begun releasing music under her given name, she moved to LA in 2016 and found a new start under a new moniker – Your Smith.
Fresh off of a tour with Matt Maeson and X Ambassadors, Your Smith has now unveiled her sophomore EP, “Wild Wild Woman”, via Neon Gold Records. Having already released standout singles, “Wild Wild Woman”, “In Between Plans”and“You Could’ve Told Me”, Your Smith may have saved the best for last. Along with the EP, Your Smith has released an official video for anthemic power Pop jam, “Man of Weakness”. The production relies on bubbling basslines, clean guitar riffs, vintage drum sounds and an uplifting, driving energy while Your Smith delivers a youthful, sensitive yet powerful performance.
The impressive one shot video follows Your Smith as she unleashes her own ‘wild woman’ upon a busy Los Angeles Diner and Bar. With the EP just getting rolling, Your Smith will be heading back out on the road to support K.Flay throughout October and November on the UK leg of her tour.
