East Harbor Bring Summertime Vibes on ‘R.W.I.B. (Right Where I Belong)’

With the amount of music that comes out every week, it is often easy for talented artists to get lost in the shuffle.  While music fans are inundated with an endless stream of music – no matter how much music you listen to… you are sure to miss some gems.  Hailing from Florida, 4-piece Alt-Pop group East Harbor are no strangers to the live music scene along the East Coast.  While they have released music in the past, having no major backing or marketing efforts behind the tunes, they failed to attract the attention they were hoping for.

No with a new wind under their sails, East Harbor went back into the studio last year to create songs for their a project.  Having already released their single, “Lucid”, from the new collection, the group is now back with another taste of what’s to come with their single, “R.W.I.B (Right Where I Belong)”.

When this one landed in my inbox, there was an instant, summertime vibe that hooked me from the very first note. With a commercial appeal that makes sure it is accessible to the masses, the group delivers a fun, bubbling and energetic tune that features both acoustic and electronic elements – further brought to life by a slick arrangement and clean mix.

Comprised of band members Josh Dobson (Vocals / Rhythm Guitar), Robby Staggs (Lead Guitar), Cory Kouns (Drums / Vocals) and David Gonzales (Bass / Vocals), East Harbor brings a bit of Funk, plenty of Pop sensibilities and and a Rock & Roll edge all perfectly blended into an undeniable package.  Make sure you check this one out and keep an eye out for what’s next.
