Lenno Takes on Niko Blank’s ‘Ride’ for ‘The Frame EP’ Remix Pack

Niko Blank has had an interesting journey leading to where he is today.  Born in South Korea, his first exposure to Western culture was through the music song books that his mother bought him to help his English.  Through these books he was first introduced to the likes of Stevie Wonder, Boyz II Men, The Carpenters, and Marvin Gaye.

After completing his mandatory military service, he began to create music full time, finding inspiration from Flume, Cashmere Cat, and Mura Masa.  It was an unofficial remix for Flume’s, “Never Be Like You”, that first lunched Niko into the spotlight of the worlds Electronic scene.  From there, an impressive sting of releases made their way out into the world and Niko Blank quickly became an artist to watch.

Depending how you look at it, Niko Blank is gifted with (of suffers from) Synesthesia – a condition in which a person’s senses are joined, making sounds reflect colors and smells reflect sounds.  It is this gift that is the basis of Nikos production, blending all of his senses into his art, painting pictures with his music – full sensory overload.

Recently Niko Blank has released his debut project, “The Frame EP”, which we covered heavily, finding nearly every track worth a share and undeniably impressive.

Check out the rest of the remixes below and save your personal favs to your bins.
