Parisian producer/DJ Roman Kouder enlists English singer/songwriter Oli Hannaford to bring us a cautionary tale on his newest track “Snoopin’”. The song opens up with Hannaford’s vulnerable vocals and builds up to a groovy chorus that’ll have you head-bobbing within seconds. The soulful melodies work perfectly over Kouder’s funky beat to create an extremely vibey track. Supplementing the groove, Hannaford, who has clearly been seriously wronged by a significant other, relates to us all by singing of mistrust and deceit.
While this song is certainly serviceable as a pick-me-up after a hard break-up, “Snoopin’” is a dynamic track that can also put you straight into a good mood.
