The Endorphins Drop Dreamy New Single ‘This Is It’

Swedish duo The Endorphins make a triumphant return to RockDafuqOut.  Having known each other for nearly all of their lives, growing up together in the booming musical haven of Stockholm, The Endorphins have a natural chemistry that translates into their music.  On a mission to spread euphoria across the globe, the talented, buzzing duo have found their stride creating saucy, funky, soulful, retro inspired jams.  About the project they say, “Our music is all about inducing endorphins. It’s about love, friendship, clubs, parties, and sex. We wanna bring good vibes, with a touch of future RnB. The vibe of our songs is influenced by the good vibes that were floating around NYC in the 70’s – that escape from reality that the disco era was built upon.

On their latest release, “This Is It”, dreamy 90’s inspired R&B vibes take hold from the very beginning.  Sensual vocals, killer toplines and lush harmonies sway on top of an ethereal, yet driving production, co-produced by Pure – a third silent member of the group.  The sexy new tune is sure to evoke emotion from the very first note while the mellow, melodic production bubbles beneath.  When asked about the inspiration behind the single, they say, “A lot of people who have never been in love start to believe that love maybe isn’t meant for them. That they weren’t meant to ever be in a relationship. Then, suddenly love hits them like a euphoric thunderstorm. That’s the feeling we want to convey.

Co-written by Erik Rapp, Emmanuel Hailemariam (guitarist for artist such as Seinabo Sey and Sabina Ddumba) and Markus Almqvist, the end result is a touching and dynamic release – only adding to the hype around the buzzing duo.  With an EP in the works, “This Is It”, is more than enough to keep their fans holding their breath waiting for more.  A stunning release that I personally will have in rotation for some time to come.  Check it.
